1. Scope and who controls the information

This policy applies to Velvet Nine: Baccarat and its official Firebase-hosted support, privacy, and account-deletion pages. The developer of Velvet Nine determines why and how game account and progress information is handled. Google provides Firebase and Google Sign-In as service providers.

2. Information we handle

Information we do not request

Velvet Nine does not request access to your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, phone calls, or SMS. The current app does not include third-party advertising, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics. It does not collect payment-card or bank-account information.

3. Why we use information

• Provide guest play and remember your local progress.
• Authenticate an optional Google-linked account.
• Upload, restore, and synchronize game progress across supported sessions.
• Operate virtual-chip balances, levels, missions, daily rewards, and responsible-play controls.
• Keep each cloud record available only to its authenticated owner.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose service failures, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, credit decisions, real-money gambling, or selling user profiles.

4. Service providers and sharing

We disclose information only as needed for the following purposes:

• Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication: optional account sign-in, identity, account security, and account deletion.
• Google Cloud Firestore: storage and synchronization of Google-linked game progress.
• Firebase Hosting: delivery and protection of this public support site.
• Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, lawful process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or secure the service.
• Business transfer: if the app or its developer is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate notice and legal safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not allow other players to see your email address or private account record.

5. Security and processing locations

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled. Firebase connections use encrypted transport, Firebase encrypts supported customer data at rest, and Cloud Firestore security rules restrict each progress document to the authenticated user with the matching Firebase user ID. No system can guarantee absolute security.

The project's Cloud Firestore database is located in Singapore (asia-southeast1). Firebase Authentication is operated from the United States, and Google may process service information on global infrastructure. Where required, Google uses contractual and legal safeguards for international processing.

6. Retention and deletion

• Guest data: remains on your device until you erase guest data in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
• Cloud progress: remains while your Google-linked Velvet Nine account exists or until you delete the account and cloud data.
• Firebase Authentication account: remains until you use the account-deletion process or deletion is otherwise required.
• Security and service records: Google/Firebase may retain limited operational records according to its terms, security needs, and legal obligations. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from protected backups.

You can permanently delete your Google-linked Firebase account and its Cloud Firestore progress from the app's Account Data screen or through the public account-deletion page. The deletion process removes the progress document first and then the Firebase Authentication account. Deletion is permanent.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

• Play as a guest without providing a Google account.
• Choose whether to use Google sign-in and cloud synchronization.
• Sign out of a Google-linked session from the app.
• Erase guest progress locally.
• Delete your Google-linked account and cloud progress.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before fulfilling a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children and legal-age restriction

Velvet Nine is intended only for users who are of legal age in their location and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the privacy contact mechanism below so the information can be investigated and deleted where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective and last-updated dates at the top identify the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice when required.

10. Contact and privacy requests

For account or data deletion, use the secure self-service deletion page. For other privacy questions or rights requests, use the developer contact email displayed in the Developer contact section of the Velvet Nine: Baccarat Google Play listing and include “Velvet Nine Privacy Request” in the subject. This provides the publisher's verified privacy contact without requiring you to post personal information publicly.
